COVID-19

I am committed to the safety of everyone who comes into my salon. The government have provided salons with guidelines to mitigate risk and keep therapists and clients as safe as possible. I have updated my risk assessment based on the most up to date version of these guidelines, however these are likely to change over the course of the pandemic so this is a working document that will be updated as necessary. So for your ease, these are the key points to note:

  • You will need to complete a Covid-19 Screening Questionnaire before each appointment. I will send this by email where possible as part of a consent form for your treatment. They usually end up in Junk folders so please look out for them – they will be from ‘FACES INFO’. They take two minutes to complete and you can do it all on your mobile phone.
  • Please don’t attend your appointment if you or anyone in your household feels unwell, if you are awaiting results for a Covid-19 test or you have been asked to self isolate either due to returning from overseas, Track & Trace or any other reason. It would be helpful if you can give me as much notice as possible if you cannot attend.
  • I will be wearing extra required PPE and clients will need to wear a face mask which can be removed if needed for the treatment (e.g. facials). I can supply you with these if needed.
  • Please don’t arrive late or bring any guests to your appointment to keep down the number of people in the salon at any one time. If you arrive early, you may need to wait outside/in your car.
  • There won’t be any toilet facilities available.
  • There will be no refreshments available, although you are welcome to bring your own and take cups away with you.
  • There will be no soft furnishings on the couch, however you are welcome to bring your own blankets/extra jumpers if you usually get cold lying down for long periods. Please bear in mind there will be extra air flow from open windows/doors/air purifiers, however I will continue to heat the room as the products I use rely on certain temperature/humidity conditions.
  • Payment can be made by PayPal, bank transfer or the correct money – no change can be given unfortunately as it all has to be sterilised.
